Did you notice anything like this happen to you at any stores?

This is not the first time it happened to me. I experienced it multiple times with BigBazaar stores. I heard the same from a couple of my friends too. Here is my story: I visit BigBazaar often because it's one common shopping point available within five minutes walkable distance from my home and I also have my favorite coffee shop near its entrance. I buy any needed household items from the store and return home just to notice that something or the other from the list goes missing when the items are more. I cross check again and again with the bill to be sure, and I was never wrong. Once it was packed cookies, another time Yippee noodles, another time socks, and etc. I noticed it always happened only when my purchased items are more than 10. I am unsure if BigBazaar staff are trained to be so tactful enough to skip/hide one or two purchased things behind while packing them into the bags, or they do it by mistake. Because they are so quick in knotting the carry bags with the items while we focus on paying the bill. Twice I called the numbers given on the bill and they said they are not responsible once the knot is open. Unfortunately there is no way we can find the missing items unless we unknot the carry bags after reaching home and then compare the items to the bill. You might think I am crazy for calling them back on missing cookies packet or biscuits or chocolates. I could have ignored. But looking at the number of people who visit the stores each day and especially those who buy more items regularly, it is nothing less than corruption because its playing with customers trust. Giving huge discounts, then sliding one billed item from me, another from B, another from C, and so on. Did you hear about the "little drops of rain"? This scam so much reminds me of that famous saying. Did this happen to you too? Not just in BigBazaar. Could be in any other stores. Please share your story too. Lets not keep quiet. It might just appear so little or silly today. But remember, good or bad, it all begins small.
